Inspired by my pilgrimage to Peru in 2006, the despacho ceremony is an ancient ceremony performed by Q’ero shamans as an offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth). They also speak of it as a work of art which inspired my vision to create, then paint, this offering for the healing of our world.
